About Zoetrope Art
Zoetrope Art was founded as an act of vocation—an offering made through image, symbol, and craft.
My work arises from the belief that art is not merely decorative, but formative: a language older than words, capable of carrying memory, identity, devotion, and moral imagination across generations. Heraldry, sacred symbolism, and visual myth have long served this purpose—giving form to lineage, values, and calling—and it is within this tradition that my work stands.
As an artist and minister, I create with intention: each piece is approached as a work of stewardship rather than manufacture. Coats of arms, crests, seals, and symbolic illustrations are developed through careful listening, historical grounding, and spiritual discernment, honoring both the visible and invisible aspects of a person, family, or institution.
Zoetrope Art functions as a creative ministry—an atelier devoted to sacred art, ecclesiastical heraldry, and symbolic design. The studio serves individuals and families seeking meaningful visual identity, as well as those drawn to art that reflects continuity, reverence, and inward depth in an increasingly disposable world.
The name Zoetrope refers to motion given life through still images—a fitting metaphor for this work. Through line, form, and symbol, what is unseen is set into motion; what is enduring is made visible.
This studio exists to create art that remembers where it comes from, speaks truth without spectacle, and serves something larger than the artist alone.
Art, in its highest form, is a form of service.
